Development and Testing
Main Features:
- Workstations with 3D Computer Aided Design software tools from Solidworks. We are able to work with files from most CAD programmes including standard transfer formats such as STEP and IGS.
- Integrated schematic drawing and circuit board layout software.
- Software development in C using STM32 style processors.
- Our “Closed Loop” design process validates the resultant prototype test results against the original specification.
Our design team is experienced in the following standards:
- EN60950 as the default safety standard used.
- Mil Std 1275, 704 and DO-160 for input supply characteristics.
- Mil Std 461 and DEF STAN 59-411 for military EMC.
- EN61000 for commercial EMC.
Computer screens show PCB design and a Solidworks model
Testing:
- In-house test facilities for conducted EMC emissions and surge/spikes along with supply drop outs.
- Thermal testing in house from -20°C to +100°C.
- Single and 3 Phase supplies are used to test over voltage and frequency ranges up to 4.5KVA.
- Close liaisons with external test houses for full EMC tests, CB reports, environmental testing and UL recognition where required.
